Kenzi was debating going in to Caritas to work tonight. On the one hand: free reign to torment zombies. On the other hand: eerily quiet bar except for zombie stylings on Twilight Zone- like music.

In the meantime, there was coffee, demanded from bored-out-of-their-minds baristas. And hoping Toby and Bo and everybody were okay, somewhere.

Petra was hating the hell out of this update form trying to wear a few too many hats today, but that didn't mean she let any of them fall by the wayside. She opened up Demon Marcus and put a sign in the window reading:

Last minute dance wear?
We've got it!

Demon Marcus? Open.

Petra opened up the shop on Friday and, after tweaking the displays a bit, wandered into the back to check out the new stock. She'd heard things about this store, and she wondered if the new owner would be down with burning some of this stuff in the trash can out back. Glitter seemed to be a theme of the evening. There was glitter on the posters covering the walls, glitter on the plants printed on table cloths. Glitter on the fake full moon hanging in place of a mirror ball.

And of course, glitter on the banner hanging above the entrance.

Petra was at work today yeah I know it's been forever I suck, but let's be real, not much work was getting done. Instead, she was sitting in the middle of the floor, playing with her new puppy and kitten friends and telling them all how fuzzy and cute they were in completely ridiculous tones and vocabulary.

She regretted nothing.

D-Day minus one. Not that you could tell that by the front face of the store, stocked as it was with herbal bath salts and bath foam products. Or the perky, sweet girl at the front counter, totally willing to help you find the right soap.
